One Hour Wonder Plaid Beanie

Pattern Note: This beanie is worked from the brim up. Pompom is optional.

Size Note: This pattern is written as a child’s size, but includes counts for baby and adult sizes. Additional sizes adjustments are listed in parentheses (baby, adult) where applicable. Rounds total at the end of rounds are written in the format (baby, child, adult).

Color Note:  For a Buffalo Plaid use black (dark tone/color a), maroon (mid tone/color b) and bright red (light tone/color c). Gingham can be achieved by substituting white for the dark tone (color a), a light tone of your chosen color (color b) and a dark or bright tone of your chosen color (color c). Tricolor checkered plaid can be achieved by using 2 primary colors, for example, yellow (light tone/color c) and blue (dark tone/ color a), with a resulting secondary color, in the case of the example,  green (mid tone/color b). Checkered Plaid can be achieved by using a bicolor mid tone (color b) and the 2 tones used in the bicolor yarn for your other colors, assigning 1 as color a and 1 as color c. SEE TABLE BELOW.
